Being an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and crafting friends. For me, helping someone put together that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.

Mid Summer – It really is the most wonderful time of the year.

Hi from STUDIO 54 and STAMP WITH NADINE V

I realized I have not written you for a little while.

What a season we have had. Sunshine, hot and humid days, rainy days to help our farmers fields. A real good mix of weather to enjoy.

I know Im sure loving to sit in my yard listening and watching the birds and the bunnies. They keep our little Leo busy. He is always looking for a friend to play with.

We had our grand daughter, Kaia over for an afternoon swim. Oh! What a delight she is and how beautiful she is growing. We just love her to bits. And that giggle. Man, it just warms your heart. DELIGHTFUL. 🥰

As I heal from my surgery, physiotherapy is going well. I sometimes don’t feel like there are no improvements and keeping the discomfort at bay but the therapist & surgeon say I am. No pain no gain. It was explained that since I have gone so long not using all my muscle groups it will take time to build up strength. So I guess I am getting there. It just will be wonderful to get back to my new normal routines, my teaching, my hairstyling clients and supports I provide with my Passport clients. This time off has shown me even more to continue to do what I love. Im thankful for that.

Studio 54 has been relatively steady.

So grateful to have happy stampers, and my Winking Stellar Team to keep me in line.

We have had some times to gather for Coffee&Card.

Christmas In July was a really fun day. 8 ladies joined in to play BINGO, craft making cards and getting ready to build up energy to Yell “PRIZE PATROL & BINGO”

I do look forward to gathering and get crafty with a load of dates and special times in the fall and winter. I will post in my calendar on my website. As soon as I can. My plan is to return to work-work once the medical team clears me.

UPDATE FROM STUDIO 54

Events and classes have been going well. I continue to be off my regular routines, the post care from surgery has been very interesting to say the least. All medical professionals are saying Im on target and making progress. I appreciate the tremendous support and help I have received. I am So Grateful.

Without the help in the studio I would not be able to have ran my regular classes or events.

I was so blessed to host a Mini High Tea and Cards to celebrate BFF Day on June 8th for anyone that doesn’t know what BFF stands for it is “BEST FRIENDS FOREVER”

It was a fantastic afternoon, the ladies sure had their pinkies in the air when they were sipping your English Breakfast and the event was deemed a triumph with attendees ensuring to display their refined manners – No “F” Block was to be found. The paper projects were by all accounts simply marvellous

I hosted the end of April a Catalogue Launch Party that was full of crafting and bingo, games and lots of laughter and of course can’t come to the studio without hearing “Prize Patrol” or BINGO …

The participants received Cardstock Samples of all 5 In Colours, a Bookmark featuring these colours, an embellishment pack, table top gifts, 4 card packs they created and took home using product from the New Annual Catalogue. We had so much fun I forgot to take pictures during the event. Hopefully next time I will remember. 🤣 I did take pictures of the projects made.

The new catalogue format has changed from other years yet it offers inspiration and ideas for all level of crafters. Whether you have never crafted before or you have inked for years. This Catty will give exactly what you need for your crafting journey. Let me give you a rundown:

You may know I had shoulder surgery the end of March 2024. Im recovering quite well. Very slowly but surely. Between the physiotherapy and time I will be all healed by the autumn (I don’t want to say fall because thats how I got here.) There is something called patience which I’m working on trying to find. However getting help to provide you with all the crafting events has been nothing short of AMAZING. I’m so thankfully blessed. I want to get back to doing #avirtualhangout Facebook Lives. I miss popping on. No matter when I do them they are recorded so you can revisit them anytime that suits you. What times are best to watch LIVE ??? ONSTAGE in Houston

What an amazing time away. My heart is full. I was so fortunate to share this experience with one of my Winking Stellar team, Marie and a few others from my Stamp2Cre8 team, Stephanie & Judy. We did have a BLAST! (No pun intended)

Here are a few of many photos taken over the 3 Day event. I got to meet some of my Stampin’ Heroes – So Star Struck! Connecting with some new faces, and other demo friends from around North America and around the globe I have met in the past during my 6 years as Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

I even got to walk actually DANCE across the stage as I celebrated my 5 Year Milestone Anniversary with my peeps. I danced like no-one was watching! HA! HA!
Huge Highlight for me to Celebrate my 5 Year from last year! THANKS to all my supporters. I cannot do this without you all! 💜

I will be hosting a New Annual Catalogue Launch Party in May so stay tuned. TBD There will be games/ prize patrol/ BINGO/ crafty make & takes with new products.

A Fun and really easy way to create cards in a short period of time. All you need is a BASIC TOOL KIT, DSP (Designer Series Paper) and cardstock!

Can we get a YAY! The greatest joy is to hear, “You made that?? WOW!!”

List of Ingredients

Paper Trimmer

DSP – Designer Series Paper (Patterned Paper)

Coloured Cardstock

Embellishments | Ribbon or Gems : BLING BLING

Adhesive of choice| Tombow Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal

Dimensional | Double Sided Adhesive Foam Dots

Bone Folder – score and make crisp folds on cardstock and paper

Take Your Pick Tool

All projects are created by starting out with some pretty Designer Series Paper. You can choose any pattern for any occasion.

You need two 3″ x 3″ squares to make all of the triangles for this card. As in some of the above cards, I only needed to cut 2 – 3” x 3″ square into two triangles with the Paper Trimmer.

To create the other projects, I then cut that triangle into two more triangles. And then, I cut one of those triangles into two triangles. 3 cuts in total. The patterns on each card are the reverse of the same designer series paper (DSP). When choosing your patterns, be sure you like both sides (or use another piece of paper, pattern or solid).

I offer a step up for the card base. see Instructions below.

Cut your card base to either, 5 1/2” x 8 1/2 Scored at 4 1/4” on the 8 1/2” side (or) 11” x 4 1/4” Scored at 5 1/2” • Add a layer measuring 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and hey fancy it up by running that layer in an embossing folder, add your cut triangles to that layer. Waa Laa!
