A New Catalogue a New Year!

A year full of great things ahead and vibrant colours.

I hosted the end of April a Catalogue Launch Party that was full of crafting and bingo, games and lots of laughter and of course can’t come to the studio without hearing “Prize Patrol” or BINGO …

The participants received Cardstock Samples of all 5 In Colours, a Bookmark featuring these colours, an embellishment pack, table top gifts, 4 card packs they created and took home using product from the New Annual Catalogue. We had so much fun I forgot to take pictures during the event. Hopefully next time I will remember. 🤣 I did take pictures of the projects made.

The new catalogue format has changed from other years yet it offers inspiration and ideas for all level of crafters. Whether you have never crafted before or you have inked for years. This Catty will give exactly what you need for your crafting journey. Let me give you a rundown:

You may know I had shoulder surgery the end of March 2024. Im recovering quite well. Very slowly but surely. Between the physiotherapy and time I will be all healed by the autumn (I don’t want to say fall because thats how I got here.) There is something called patience which I’m working on trying to find. However getting help to provide you with all the crafting events has been nothing short of AMAZING. I’m so thankfully blessed. I want to get back to doing #avirtualhangout Facebook Lives. I miss popping on. No matter when I do them they are recorded so you can revisit them anytime that suits you. What times are best to watch LIVE ??? Last week Update

ONSTAGE in Houston

What an amazing time away. My heart is full. I was so fortunate to share this experience with one of my Winking Stellar team, Marie and a few others from my Stamp2Cre8 team, Stephanie & Judy. We did have a BLAST! (No pun intended)

Here are a few of many photos taken over the 3 Day event. I got to meet some of my Stampin’ Heroes – So Star Struck! Connecting with some new faces, and other demo friends from around North America and around the globe I have met in the past during my 6 years as Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

I even got to walk actually *DANCE* across the stage as I celebrated my 5 Year Milestone Anniversary with my peeps. I danced like no-one was watching! HA! HA!

Huge Highlight for me to Celebrate my 5 Year from last year! THANKS to all my supporters. I cannot do this without you all! 💜

I will be hosting a New Annual Catalogue Launch Party in May so stay tuned. TBD There will be games/ prize patrol/ BINGO/ crafty make & takes with new products.

Thank You card for Kylie’s International Blog Highlights – September 2023

This is the first time I had an opportunity to join in on Kylie’s International Blog Hop – September 2023 | This is so exciting for me!

Most of you know that I love what I do and continue to be inspired by many of you in all you do. The sentiment on the card that I chose to use for the Blog Hop couldn’t say it more perfectly. SO THANKFUL FOR YOU.

This sentiment was taken from the stamp set called, “So Sincere” a brand new set available to purchase Sept. 6. It is a sentiment only set with mixed fonts. It is one of my favourites. The Card base colour is the beautiful Lemon Lolly and dry embossed using one of the Basic 3D Embossing folders #161598 – The die cuts used were from the Timeless Arrangements Bundle #161526. I used the Blending Brushes #153611 & the Classic Stampin Ink Pad colours Moody Mauve #161649 Boho Blue #161650 Lost Lagoon #161678 Bubble Bath #161664 | Then I added some Bling Bling embellishments Tinsel Gems Three-Pack #161624

Where do I begin??

Each day full of gratitude and appreciation for everyone & everything in my paper crafting journey. Without each and every one of you. Where I am now would not have been possible. I know I may have mentioned this before, it just must have to mean. It is the truth.

Stampin’ Up! Just sent me an email yesterday acknowledging my 5 years with the Stampin’ Up family. I will be receiving a 5 year Pin shortly in the mail. Gift Card Holders and Treat Package Templates – Great for give-aways, table-settings, pillow gifts, stocking stuffers, small gifts.

Treat Box made with the Cracker & Treat Box Dies #159182 (AC) and the Handmade Tag Punch #159690 (J-JMC) – **These will fit loads of goodies even a small gift**

2 Sheet Cracker Box Pouch Instructions

Step 1. Start with TWO 6” x 5” pieces of paper or card stock. Run both pieces through with the cracker box die. Fold along the score lines. Cut off the end of ONE side on both pieces (see diagram).
Step 2. Put glue all along one end segment of one of the pieces. Adhere to the end of the other piece. Then put glue on one of the end segments again and overlap with the other end segment. Place this cylinder shape with the little triangles facing up. Fold down the triangles so that they are parallel with the work surface. Shape the cylinder so that it is as round as possible (see video).
Step 3. Cut TWO approximately 2-3/8” diameter circles (3rd largest Layering Circle). Put a dot of glue on each of the little triangular tabs. Place one of the circles on top of the triangles and push down gently until the triangles start to bond with the circle. Flip the piece over so that the circle is on the work surface. Put glue all over one
side of the other circle. Put this circle adhesive side down into the bottom of the cylinder. Push down with a bone folder.
4. Fill the pouch with your choice of candy or small gift.
5. For the top, pinch two triangles at a time to create a star shape. Tie an 18” length of ribbon around the top and tie into a bow.
6. Stamp sentiment of your choice and punch out a tag using the Handmade Tag Punch. Create a hole at the top of the tag with the Best Tag Trio hole punch. To hang the tag, feed the ribbon bow through the hole.

Score along the 7″ side at 1″ from each side; Flip and score at 3-1/2″

Rotate 1/4 turn and score along the 8″ side at 2-1/8″ from each side

Basic White cardstock – 2″ x 3-1/4″

PAINTED CHRISTMAS DSP – 2”x3” (2 pcs landscaped) |CHERRY COBBLER CARDSTOCK – 3 1/4” x 8 1/2” • Score along the long side at 2 1/4” and 6 1/4” ( or 2 1/4 from each side) | VERY BEST TRIO PUNCH #159878 – Choose which side will be the Top flap ( both are the same size) and then round the corners with the punch | Round the corners of the 1 piece of DSP that will attach to the top flap. **TIP** Flip the paper 180° to punch the second corner so you have the same pattern on both sides. Adhere to out of card holder| Apply Tear & Tape (or adhesive of choice) to the inside edges of the bottom flap | Remove Tear & Tape backing, Fold up Bottom flap then adhere| Slip Gift Card in the pouch | Secure Top Flap with a belly band or ribbon | Add a small tag and embellishments of your choice… VOILA

This is a very easy technique using a few pieces of card stock and designer series paper. Make it the STAR OF THE SHOW.

Measurements –

8 Designer Series Paper cut 1-1/4″ x 1-1/4″
2 Coloured Card Stock
1 card base coordinating/ complimentary colour 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ Scored at 4-1/4″

A Fun and really easy way to create cards in a short period of time. All you need is a BASIC TOOL KIT, DSP (Designer Series Paper) and cardstock!

Can we get a YAY! The greatest joy is to hear, “You made that?? WOW!!”

List of Ingredients

Paper Trimmer

DSP – Designer Series Paper (Patterned Paper)

Coloured Cardstock

Embellishments | Ribbon or Gems : BLING BLING

Adhesive of choice| Tombow Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal

Dimensional | Double Sided Adhesive Foam Dots

Bone Folder – score and make crisp folds on cardstock and paper

Take Your Pick Tool

All projects are created by starting out with some pretty Designer Series Paper. You can choose any pattern for any occasion.

You need two 3″ x 3″ squares to make all of the triangles for this card. As in some of the above cards, I only needed to cut 2 – 3” x 3″ square into two triangles with the Paper Trimmer.

To create the other projects, I then cut that triangle into two more triangles. And then, I cut one of those triangles into two triangles. 3 cuts in total. The patterns on each card are the reverse of the same designer series paper (DSP). When choosing your patterns, be sure you like both sides (or use another piece of paper, pattern or solid).

I offer a step up for the card base. see Instructions below.

Cut your card base to either, 5 1/2” x 8 1/2 Scored at 4 1/4” on the 8 1/2” side (or) 11” x 4 1/4” Scored at 5 1/2” • Add a layer measuring 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and hey fancy it up by running that layer in an embossing folder, add your cut triangles to that layer. Waa Laa!
